One of the thing we discovered when we started helping PTAs and PTOs move to email communication vs paper communication was the challenge of gathering and managing the PTA newsletter content. Submissions were received via email, so put in the volunteer’s box to be retyped, some people even said “Can you just write a blurb about…”
It got to be extremely difficult to manage. That’s when we came up with the Newsletter Submission Form. The form explains exactly what the group needs and walks the submitter through the entire process. Now the job of crafting the email content is on the submitters shoulders and the communications volunteer can focus on delivering the weekly email, not spending hours formatting and writing it.
