We are finally settling back in after our 4th major trade show in two weeks and California was another huge success! Thank you to all every school that came to speak with us! Again, we were overwhelmed by the excitement and enthusiasm we received by California’s PTA and PTO groups!

As with our other shows, we left California with a few more ideas to add to the Digital PTO service.

1. We will be implementing easy to use Business Sponsorship Ads to our Premium Plans in an effort to encourage our PTA’s and PTO’s to solicit community support to help fund their website. We plan on offering advertising on the home page as well on individual new posts. We hope to launch this feature mid-summer at the latest.
2. We added a brand new feature today to all of our standard themes that will allow users to very quickly add an image to their news using our new “Featured Image” setting right inside the news post editor. Adding an image to the “Featured Image” setting will automatically put a nice image to the right of all of your posts on the home page. The feature automatically resizes your images so there is absolutely no editing or modification needed.
3. We are exploring additional features to go along with our events calendars including the option to create recurring events. While we do not have an estimated release date for this one yet, we are actively working on implementation.

So that’s the status update from California! We are back in Colorado for a few weeks before we head off to Chicago for the next “PTO Today” expo.
